Hey Everyone. Ive heard references to a limitless ammo +4 or 5 sling
supposedly for sale in trademeet here in these forums. This is my second time thru the game, and I ve been all over trademeet both at day and night, before and after the trademeet quest, and I cant find any sign of one. I know I finished the game the last time with a +4 sling of everaud or something like that, But I ddint find that till later in the game, and I didnt buy it.

Am I confused...or does someone know what Im talking about?

You can get a sling +5 but you need the bonus CD patch or simpel create it in shadowkeeper.

There is actually only one sling, which uses no ammo. It's called The Sling of Everard, and it's +5 sling. However, it is not on sale in Trademeet. It's on sale on Deidre, the bonus CD merchant in Adventurer's Mart, for some hefty 20+ K gold. But, as I said, you need to have the Bonus CD installed. If you not have the CD then no worries, go check the Baldurash, there's a patch which adds Bonus CD merchant plus also Collector's CD merchant (Deidre in Adventurer's Mart and Joluv in Copper Coronet).

In Trademeet, after you "free" them, you can buy Tansheron's Bow though - it's +3 shortbow which uses no ammo. There will also be on sale the Girdle of Inertial Barrier and Cloak of Misplacement. Handy little things.

I must say that it is quite strange. I have done all quests in Trademeet and i wanted that girdle you can buy but have never find the guy that sells it. And i have been _ALLOVER_ Trademeet. [img]redface.gif[/img]

You need the Bonus CD patch.

Well just create the girdle in shadowkeeper. It takes 2 seconds.

Well i have downloaded the Bonus CD Merchant from Baldurdarsh but it won´t work. :(

And i don´t want to import it because i just don´t like the idea. :D

You can get it from Joluv in the Copper Coronet.

Well, thats all good to know. Im glad Im not crazy...I could have sworn I heard several references to some sling you could get early in the games that worked on Kangaxx and the tougher golems, and that it was purchasable in trademeet.As for trademeet item locations(spoiler?)

Theres a guy next to and to the left of the normal dwarf who sells stuff in the merchant walkway of trademeet, but unlike the dwarf, hes only there during the day, and only after the Djinn quests are completed. He looks like a noble in green I think. He sells the neatest stuff overall in trademeet,like the aforementioned girdle, a nifty little cloak of displacement, and a dancing sword that looks cool, but Ive never picked it up...and other stuff. Other than the robe of the archmagi for sale in the towns normal blacksmith shop, this guys got the best stuff in town...and you can steal the stuff from him...unlike the blacksmith.

I can understand your moral issue with importing... but I also consider it a moral issue to hav to BUY a bonus cd for some more items... you could always import the sling then just take off 30k, or however much gold you see fit from your party.. donate it to the church or just edit it out in SK.. that way you are paying for the item
