I have a big problem..... I had just startede a solo Sor., and was almost finish with the Planar Sphere quest, when my game began to crash. Everytime i load my savedgame, the game crashes. Anyone exp. this before, or is it just my computer..... Need help.

i have had the same problems numerous times, sometimes it was a bad save and i had to go back and do an earlier save to continue. other times i held on to the saves and reloaded BG2 to my computer and that worked. Sometimes i just reseted the computer to get rid of all that crap the drives hold on too [img]smile.gif[/img]

not really sure though...having the same problem also

do you have the latest patch?

More than likely QFlash is right that it is either a bug or a bad save but I had a problem like that when I ran the game with Debug=1 ON on my laptop. Seemed I did not have enough memory or something.

If you are running in Debug try turning it off and see if it will load.

All of them? in that case its likly nothing to do with the saves and more to do with lack of drive space

(hint: go to windows\temp and kill the lot. by definition nothing in their is essential to your computer, and windows should delete it all at shutdown. fat chance. it just accumulates.)

or it could be a virus or a corrupted install. but drive-space is easiest to check. i dont feel comfertable with less than 500mb free.

then scan your drive.

then re-install BG2.
