I completed the whole game and never say Mazzy. I found her note in the Umar Hills and ruins. Where was she? For that matter, I never saw Elminster either.

Did you do the Umar Hills quest and visit the Temple Ruins? It's kinda hard to miss Mazzy if you've been there...

Yeah, I completed this quest. Shadow Dragon, Shade Lord, the whole bit. The only person who was there was the dying Ranger at the end. Is she in one of the cells? I never could figure how to get those open; nor could I open the 1st shadow wall. I had to walk around the lava pit.

Hmm...

Mazzy is in one of the cells at the area where you fight the Shadow Jailer. After defeating him he drops a key which opens the cells.

The 1st shadow door is opened by the gem you get in a room off the jail area. The second one can't be opened, thus one had to take the lava room route.

Never mind you didn´t find her. She´s not worth the effort, being one of the boring chars in the game. SPOILER.............it´s only her deep emotional connection to Aerie which makes her interesting, so if you had Aerie in your party, you may have missed some nice dialogues.

Weird, I never had to fight a Shadow Jailer, nor ever saw one. Just a bunch of shades that kept coming after me. Must have been a bug or something. Those cells always aggravated me though. thanks for the info, I can sleep now.

I must disagree. She has Grand Mastery in the short Bow <u>and</u> Short Sword. She got me through a lot of tough moments. I am glad I dropped Anomen for her.

Anomen - he's so aggravating ("What is it now?!") that'd I'd drop him if someone offered me 4 coppers and a rusty dagger.
