Hello all......
Just a little confusion over attacks per round. Am I right in thinking that a warrior spending 2 slots in a weapon grants an extra half attack per round, and they gain further 1/2 attacks at level 7 and level 13? This means that a level 7 barbarian wielding a 2-handed sword with 2 slots in 2-handed swords would attack twice per round (1 attack base, 1/2 half weapon proficiency, 1/2 for being level 7) and at level 13 would attack 5/2. Well, I loaded a past game to find that both Keldorn and Valygar attacked 3 times per round wielding 1 weapon each with 2-slots spent in that weapon. This is very confusing because I am not using any third party patches, and I don't know why they have gained this extra 1/2 attack per round. Surely they should both attack at 5/2. Anyway, I equiped my current barbarian (level 13 attacking 5/2) with the boots of speed and his attacks were then set to 3 per round. I thought the boots only increased movement rate and not attacks. This could explain the previous attacks of 3 for Keldorn but what about Valygar (who wasn't wearing the boots of speed)?????? Any advice would be welcome. Jim. |
I'm almost certain that dual weilding give +1 attacks, which would account for Valygar, and yes, the boots of speed do give +1 attacks. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
