I'm soloing with sorceror and I'm now doing the vampire guest and cleaning out their nest. But when vampires do their charm attack and my character goes charmed the game ends. What spell or item gives me protect agains charm?

Summoning skeleton warriors would be very nifty here, but you might not have that spell.

The only mage-usable item i know off, is a Greenstone Amulet.
These can be obtained by looting it off any given Mordekainen's sword.

But i'd wait for some more reply's, there have to be more mage-items to counteract this, probably just missed them.

Your best bet is probably to use potions of clarity. These give you a full mind shield.

Many merchants sell these, but I know that Roger the Fence in the Temple Sewers sell a few. Stack up on them for ToB too, since there are some enemies that will be able to charm you with no saving throw allowed which means game over when you solo.

Protecting your sorceror from Charm in the vampire nest:

• Cast Spell Immunity: Enchantment
• Cast Improved Invisibility or Mislead and Spell Immunity: Divinition
• Drink a Potion of Clarity
• Use a Protection from Undead scroll - you'll have to let it wear off or dispel it before facing Bodhi
• Equip the Staff of the Magi

I summoned some Nishruuhs and cleared the place out of vampires. So that's it. But where is that Staff of Magi?

The staff of the magi is in the bridge district. You know wherer the guy in red from the graveyard was waiting the house north of him has 2 doors, one goes to a lich the other one leads to a very tough group of people, one of which a female mage holds the staff. You need a rougestone gem to get into the building though. Anyway what the staff lets you do is go invisable at will by clicking one the icon, very useful. It also casts spell trap (lv 9) and gives you magic resisatnce and save bonus, does other stuff but thats the best. In case you dont know where the guy in red is, the building is two up from the bottom of the map facing the bay.

Might want to change the title of this thread ;) Some people (not me) do get offended by the G** D*** thing, personally I don't know what the fuss is about. Earlier in the week 250 got banned for getting smart to a mod for asking him to remove it from one of his threads.
