Please help

I have got all four keys for the pipes in Chapter 2. That is I have the ring, blood, hand and staff

I must be doing something wrong.

How do you put them in the pipes.

I have been clicking on the item and having it up when I activate the switch but I always get zapped.

Help. What should be enjoyable is getting frustrating.

Put the items in this order in your inventory (actually I don't think this is necessary but I always do just in case) - hand, ring, blood, staff.
Now click on the pipes in this order - 3, 1, 2, 4 (from left to right).

Thanks for your help

I finally worked out how to do it

I must say it took the combination of a few of your replies

I found you have to select the item then press onto the correct tube. Always being directly in front of that tube. Whats more you have to keep activating the tube until it reacts
