Why Does Everyone dislike her?
Because shes bossy: Lets see she gave Imoen shit straight at the beggining she gave just about everyone flak but she lost her damn husband thats justified
Because she ugly: Hell no for a cartoon character shes hot
Because shes annoying: Maybe but everyones anyonying if you hear them say the same thing over and over
Because she sucked in bg 1: Dont know never played it

Why Shes Good
Because Shes good at what she does
Because shes deep
Because theres alot of interaction with her and her past

I like her! She is an excellent druid although she cannot reach high levels.

Where there are monsters and barbarians there will be Byronas fighting against them.

I also like Jaheira. She is a good fighter, and she can also cast some spells.
I also like the rough way she talks and behaviors and find her a bit sexy.

She's a good character, but Aerie is stronger, Korgan could slaughter her too if he had one or two good axes, Minsc could chop her up easily as well, the only one she might have a chance against would be Edwin since she could disrupt his spellcasting with insect swarm spells.

Jahiera does have the best average stats. She would be better is she could use crom faeyr.

considering that druids have some pretty nice spells, and your only other option is Cernd, she's a kick-ass druid. She actually rocked in BG1 if you gave her the dagger of Venom. I have her, Khalid, Minsc, Dynaheir, Imoen, and myself (mage), and she was my lead Tank with Minsc as support. The only reason why she would have sucked in BG1 is because Druids (as well as clerics) were pretty shafted for spells, but IWD and BG2 fixed that. What I wonder is why Spike Growth was in IWD but not BG2. That + Web really kicked ass, especially against spellcasters. (though now there's insect swarm and that works kinda the same way).

I disagree on that one, Neb. I mean, anyone can beat Aerie http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif and she's got a defense that's even better then Minsc (remember a spell called Ironskins?)
Well, anyways, Jaheira is a good partymember.

Although she has good stats, she shouldn't have been made a fighter/druid. She should have been a plain druid. This figther side of her just absorbs all the experience and doesn't allow her to reach high levels.
