whats the best setup people have used for any of the characters??? i mean from boots to rings... swords to bracers?? im not looking to copy just trying to find out what equip is available

Weapon ( depends of you caracter): Carsomyr
Armor: Red scale
Helm: Dragon
Shield: Dragon
Ring: Gaxx and fire resistence Boots: speed or north
Cloak: mirror or baldurian.

Grojlach: I think you'll find that all the ioun stones protect against critical hits as well as the mask, so they're all better than the mask.

Hmmmm... for my Sorcerer, I used the following set-up. Note that this is only for SoA, no ToB items.

Armour: Robe of Vecna
Gauntlets: Bracers of Defence 3
Helmet: Pale Green Ioun Stone
Amulet: Amulet of Power
Rings: Ring of Wizardry, Ring of Acuity.
Cloak: Cloak of Protection +2
Boots: Boots of Speed
Belt: Belt of Inertial Barrier
Weapons: Staff of Magi, Sling of Everard

You're right of course, but at the point in the game I encountered the first Ioun Stones, my Sorceress was already way too overpowered (had the level cap removed). It could be I just silently slipped it into my bag of holding to sell it later, not sure anymore. Oh, and if memory serves me right, not every Ioun Stone is usable by my Sorceress. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

My cavalier had:
WEAPON: Carsomyr
ARMOUR: Armor of the Hart +3
GAUNTLETS: Gauntlets of weapon expertise (I replaced them in TOB with smt else...)
HELMET: Helm of Balduran
NECKLACE:The on which improves your saving throws by +2. (replaced in tob)
RING1: Ring of Gaxx
RING2: Ring of earth control
CLOAK: Cloak of mirroring
BOOTS: Boots of speed
GIRDLE:Girdle of stone giant strenght (replaced in tob)
