SPOILER
. . . . . . . . . . . I have just bought BGI after playing BGII. There seem to be a lot more NPC's that can join your party. I am a good chaotic fighter. I have loyalty to Jaheria, Minsc and Imoen from useing the in BGII. Haveing Jaheria means I also have to take Khalid(sp?). In BGII he is Khalid is dead does he have an unavoidable death in BGI or will he be alive at the end ? If he does die wo should I replace him with. I also have one more spare NPC slot I need a Mage or Cleric I was thinking maybe Quayle as I take Aerie in BGII. What should I do ? |
He doesn't die in bg1.

Quayle is an excellent character, just make sure you can keep him around long enough to level up a few times, also give Yeslick a go, he's one of them best !

NPC MINI SPOILERS http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
- - - - - The only way to separate Khalid from Jaheira is letting him die (or killing him yourself, i dunno if Jaheira would note that http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif). Same goes for Minsc and Dynaheir. For a good aligned party, i would take these NPCs: Khalid Kivan Minsc Dynaheir Imoen Jaheira Replace one of them with the character youre playing (for example, remove jaheira if youre playing cleric, etc). You could also take off minsc (kivan is so good with a bow) and add more magic to your party (branwen for cleric, edwin for mage (evil but hes the best http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif)) I like those cause theyre good and cause you can take them early in the game, which is important for developing them, cause when they level up youŽll choose which proficiencies you wanna improve. ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/ertai.gif You up ?? Javi you probably know this but you can also separate the pairs (Minsc/Dynaheir, Jaheira/Khalid, Skie/Eldoth) by going into a house that you won't enter again, leaving the unwanted party member in that house by himself, and then removing him/her from the party. Just make sure you don't enter that house again!

Right Melusine http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif Once i dropped Montaron in Nashkell, but not in a house, simply i sent him far from the party and then dropped him and abandoned the map. It was a stupid thing to do, cause later when i went back to nashkell i couldnt save cause montaron was still looking for me. I had to kill the poor guy... http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif
And yeah, i forgot that pair (eldoth/skie) and another one, Montaron/xzar. ------------------ http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/memnoch/ertai.gif You up ?? Beware !! When falling, better fall from down |
what the heck is wrong with me? i have been thru bg1...well, this is my 5th time. doing the 4 and 5 time to play all the npcs i missed before. it makes me crazy, i am almost done with durlag's tower and still haven't a clue where Skie is, or Eldoth for that matter. i only found out there was a Skie on the 4 time. *lol*
oh well, with the Throne of Bhaal coming out soon, i don't have the time to go back thru (still gotta do bg2 to prepare for the ep, ya know http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif ). ::sighs:: o well V***V |
I did the Eldroth thing my first time through.. not that he or Skie are useful or good characters (Skie has to be the 7th or 8th female thief in that game)... but she does have the best of the female portraits in my opinion. It is the one I used in BG2 for my multiplayer group.
I had to use that same unfortunate tactic to get rid of Khalid... I don't know what made the poor fool think he could charge an tower of gnolls unarmed but he paid the price http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/tdo9.gif |
Yeah Khalid isn't a very smart fellow is he!

[/B][/QUOTE] I would say Kivan Khalid Bradwen (or Yeslick haven't tried that but i'm gonna) Coran Dynaheir (personally don't like her but she's good) Ajantis or Xan depended on weither you like might or magic Evil Party and this pure by stats not on experiance (i should do that sometimes but i can't find the time or the will to do it) Montaron Xzar Eldoth Edwin Viconia You!!! ------------------ http://www.phpshop.net/images/rikard/rikard2.gif -no text here, move along- |
