a monsterous manual is a helpful thing to have around. it will give you all the straight stats for all the monsters that you could ever face, how they use that in combat and basically a full description of everything. It can be a helpful thing if you dont know what something is. Just something to keep in mind

"The only good mage is a dead mage, or at least one that can't cast spells" Sven Stonebreaker

"Warriors and wizards, what else is next" KeNciL KiLkaDiN

with the important exception that amost any mosnter powerful enough to really benefit from having access to his stats will not be implemented corectly. look at memnochs thread about evil denizens of the underdark and compare those beholders to the ones we get. the info in a proper d&d manual will mostly just serve to scare you.

yeah in practical application most of them just turn out to be sissy's, but it can be good to know what your up against.

If you *really* wanted to know what you were up against, you can use Shadowkeeper's .cre file viewer to check what the creature's stats are. Or you could use Infinity Explorer. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Thanks!
