Heya.........

On my travels, after fighting a couple of Liches, I have obtained the Golden arm and leg ( from sewers/unseeing eye area ) and a Golden torso ( from a house in the bridge district ).
I assume there are some more bits and pieces to obtain.

Could anyone kindly tell me where to get the other bits, and what do they make when you get them all together?

No, you've found all the parts you need. Go to the Docks, and enter the cellar of the house just east of the Sea's Bounty tavern. There you will find some shady character who needs the parts. Afterwards, you'll have to fight him, but beware, he's not your average Lich.
