could some one please tell me how to romance?

Well you don't have to DO anything.
You must be human,half elf,elf or halfling.
Viconia will not romance with elves
Aerie will also romance with male gnomes
Viconia's romance starts after you rescue her from the fanatics,Jaheira's right after Gaylan Bayle(sp?),and Aerie's after you do the circus quest.
For female romances there is only Anomen

<font color="gold">First, you must figure out who you want to romance. Helspanth said which one you can romance.
And all you have to do from that spot, is to have them in your party, and answer nicely to all questions they ask, and be nice against them.
And the most important thing: dont kick 'em out! If you would like to romace eg Viconia, you cant do that if you had her in your party earlier, and kicked her out.</font>

On top of the comments by Sir Exxon I must add that you can kick Aerie or viconia at any time from from your party without screwing the romance IF you get them back within 3 ingame days.
That is not the case with Jaheira.At the moment you kick her out of the party the romance is over.
