Ok, so I feel like I've gone insane. I just got the mavin ring and all is well. HOW IN THE WORLD DO I GET OUT!!! I've gone through the whole asylum about 3 times and haven't figured out how to leave. What am I missing? Even if you don't want to tell me the answer, can you at least tell me which area it is in? By the tombs, by where I got in, etc?

By the barred exits where you find the gold key are levers, just above the waterline. These levers will raise the bars and you may exit via the area where the little guy gives hints.
