To update everybody, We have rescued Viconia's brother, Valen from being a Drider. Velkyn has a secret plan maturing, and the Lolth's drow are out in force, looking for invaders.. Skip has not wet his pants for some hours [img]smile.gif[/img] , and Skye, Lylulfe, and Secretmaster are with the main group. Neb is looking bored but full, having sucked all the blood from a drow.

Suddenly, a massive explotion shakes the cave. The party runs outside only to see the city in flames.
Velkyn: *Evil smile, it would appear that house Beanre just got a letter from the high priestress of Lloth from Neverwinter. Apperantly, houses Kenafin and Arkhenneld secretly worship the false god Ghaunadaur. Normally matron Beanre would wonder why Lloth hasn't spoken to her direcly, but since these houses were plotting against her anyway, it gave her a good excuse to start an all out war in Lloths name.
I think this is a good opportunity to make our getaway.

VICONIA "House Banrae? That was the First House in Mezzobaranshan. A notable coup, Velkin, to get them to waste their forces to attack those other houses! Lolth's wrath shall be great, at losing so many of her worshippers, when she finds out the truth. (to Galadria) Abbil, we should flee at once.

As the group steals through the tunnels, they are ambushed by a drow war party, 20 strong, led by a Priestess. There are two mages, and 17 male fighters.
GALADRIA"To me. Get them all. Let none survive." (casts Time Stop, then Dragon's Breath, Comet Strike, and Abu-Dilzam's Horrid Wilting.
VICONIA "Lil alur, for Helm." (Attack's Priestess, smashing her face in with her hammer.)

Velkyn: *Pulls a wand out of his pocket and starts launching fireballs, forcing the attackers to take cover.
No way we can beat a warparty of 20 drow, lets run for it now that they are in cover.

Neb transforms into a Slithering Tracker once more and hides in a crack in the wall until he gets a chance to ambush the drow.

GALADRIA (Her magic and the party's steel have reduced the drow to 10, with one mage, all of them off their feet. Casts Chaos)(to Velkyn) "Yes, let us fall back. If any should follow, we may indeed ambush them.. They are in totla dis array, now, but I have used up almost my high level magic." (Casts Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting, again, just for good measure, then Summons a Juggernaut Golem to guard the entrance to a passage that they run down.)

"Hey, you guys are finally starting to use your heads!"
Skip was smiling as they ran along through the dark, until he bumped into a wall suddenly springing up in front of him that is.

"There's got to be plenty of ways to the surface, and we only need to find one."

With all the powerfull spellcasters in this party, can't anyone just teleport us all to the surface?

Neb dribbles out of a crack in the wall and returns to normal, "I know a way out, follow me." He walks down a corridor seemingly chosen at random and places his hands on one of the walls which melts away revealing a rough passage heading slightly upwards, he waves for the rest to follow him and walks inside.
