I've noticed a few comments and 'debate' oriented materials in some threads that are meant for fun here. If you are reading a thread that you aren't invited to post in for whatever reason, please do NOT post there to argue points with someone who is an invited guest or the originator of the thread.

I'm particularly noting the little bickering posts going on in LennonCook's thread right now which I was invited to post to and found myself treading through an old argument on several pages.

It's rude at best and should be done in PM, please. However, if you'd like, I can post a "Disagree here" thread for minor disagreements to be worked out instead of clogging a game thread up.

<font color=skyblue>Bumping for my sister-mod.

I agree with what she said, and would support a thread devoted entirely to disagreements(NO RUDENESS though), just to keep the games clean...if that is what it will take.

Other than that...utilize the PM function.

It's free and useful. </font>

Very good point, bumping

Ooooops, caught red-handed. :D
Sorry about that, I don't make a habit of it, and I apologised for interruption in the thread, but I suppose I should've left it to PM.
Strange, I always seem to forget about PMs, probably just not used to it! :D

But now you'll remember about the pm function! Any time you feel like interrupting a thread and have to apologize while posting is probably a good time to click that pm button on the other person's post. No worries, though, I wasn't singling you out! Just concerned that we let the people playing have their fun and take up the more serious comments and discussions outside the games threads.

Cloudy

I'm so sorry I can't post in that thread because I would love to know the definition of 'blandishments' is. Because if it means the same here as it does elsewhere it means some form of flattery.

Talthyr Malkaviel 03-14-2002 01:39 PM

Indeed it does Donut, to flatter or coax.
Maybe they meant brandishing something??? I just don't know though.
