I wish to join the Hlaalu and Redoran. where do I go to join these two?

You can join the Hlaalu in Balmora, just wander in the Hlaalu council Manor in the manor district and talk to the people inside until one offers to let you join. If I remember, she is on the bottom floor.

Just make sure you go into the Council manor, and not the Hlaalo manor house.. two totally different things.

Watch out! i think you can only join one of the great houses. Redoran are enemies of the Hlaalu.

I'm a redoran myself, and i can't get any Hlaalu to talk with me anymore. Well, almost...

You could compensate by joining the fighter's guild though. The thief guild is an ennemy of both Hlaalus and fighters, and many quest of the fighter's guild involve pissing off the thieves.

Or you could join the Redorans and the morad tong (dunmer assassins) or even the thieves. But both hlaalus and the camona tong (dunmer thieves) will be your ennemies.

Yes. I'm in all the the guild you named, plus the Temple and House Redoran.
I think you can join any guild, but only one of the 3 great houses.

I forgot the name of the third house. It's the mages' House based in Sadrith Mora.
You can join the Redoran in Ald'ruhn. You have to enter the huge building then continue straight ahead (they call it the skar).

3rd House is Telvanni.
