I know that the rouge stone is used for gaining access into the twisted Rune...nice items BTW...but NOW the stone has begun to tell me so by itself and have´nt got a freaking clue to why it does this!

Well suddenly I´ve gotten a new rouge stone...Yipeeee but I can´t sell it and the description of it just reads:

"I´m in the bridge district waiting for someone like you!"

Is´nt that strange?

Yepper...I actually did a screenorint of it for future investigation since I´ve played this game through some times and NEVER has this happened to me even though I´ve always had the ToB...or since it came out anyway!!!
What I get out of this is that this is some kind of signal sent to me from the Lich in the twisted Rune...but I find it kinda strange that I´ve never gotten this strange thing before?

I will tell you why, you most probably downloaded the Balderdash Fixpack which adds in a few more links between the Guarded Compound and the Twisted Rune.

The Rogue Stone you possess was obtained from the leader of the group in the Guarded Compound.

I hate to disagree Dundee but nope...I did´nt download the patch!
The only semi-unpfficial patch I´ve downloaded was the bonusmerchants from Baldurdash...otherwise I´ve got ToB installed and thats all.
The funny thing is that this started happening after I installed BG1 on the computer again....just for the memoires :D

Hmmmm... either ToB installs it too, or you somehow unknowingly installed it.
