Seeing as you can't pay in items when you enchant, and enchanting can cost up to several hundred thousand.. how do you acquire that much money? I thought I'd enchant a summonable in my ebony shield, but it exceeded my price range. I have over 1 million worth of gold in items (2 items making up 800.000) but as I cannot pay with items as you can when you barter for items.. what do you do?

Well, there is obviously no way to sell those 800k items, b/c no vendor will deal that much.

If you want a easy way to make money, which is kinda cheap but will earn you 50k, look below

You can kill ordinators in Vivec, and get all their equipment. Then just head to Creeper (Caldera). Sell him the boots / helmet, go rest for 24 hours, come back buy the boots and helmet again, then sell the 10k weapon. Go rest again, sell the boots and helmet, then sell rest sell the rest of the gear (shoulders / gloves / torso?)

This will earn you about 50k, if you do it multiple times you could earn the money ;)

But that's "cheating/exploiting the system"? Why didn't the MW-people make normal ways of getting vast amounts of money or at least lower the price on enchanting?

i posted this a while back but if you goto the dren plantation north of vivec you can get 18000+ gold(just gold) plus a bunch of items to sell. beleive there is also a deadric katana there to.

or and i believe this would still hold true in MW, travel a bit and clear some tombs and cemetaries. I know is ARENA this is how i raised cash (of course in the 1st elder scrolls there was no enchanting).

PS another way is (not very nice) is to raid small villages, the down side to this is that once the innocent is killed, i'm sure they kept the dreadful knights around to attack you. this however does raise your cash

heh, once your problably high enough i'm sure the knights(or whatever they are called now in MW) won't bee too much trouble.

PS how is everyone enjoying MW? i haven't bought it yet so looking for a few opinions. I played the original edler scrolls as a spellmage.

If you have solve the murder of rallen hlaalu, you can continuosly get 1000 gold everytime when you talk to the guy ( forgot his name )in balmora. ;)
