Hey, it seems that every so often a key/important NPC will not talk to me because "they appear busy"

So far it's happened with the Sewage Golem, the kid and soldier outside the Aerie's tent, too.

This happen to anyone else?

it's a known bug - the latest patch will fix it.

I tried lookin for that patch at the baldurdash site and couldn't find it. I had to get the 8.3 meg patch from bioware.com. Now things seem to work out fine. Recently, I'm getting booted from the game as well. Sometimes I get locked up - one major part was the demon plane when the planar sphere lands. Everytime I hit the map button, it freezes. Hope I didn't miss any treasures there.

If ya having problems finding it - www.bioware.com has it. That's the official patch so be forwarned that it may get rid of those nifty little things ppl use to their advantage. I personally don't know if it does.

After downloading the bioware patch, I did notice something I thought was a bug. When a certain person gets taken prisoner, the important npc never showed up. I ran ALL around the city and a keep lookin for answers. Took about 2 damned hours. I reloaded and tried again to have the scene take place in another location and voila - the npc meets me and starts to spill the beans.

Even though this irritating crap happened to me after an official patch, I'd say go for the official. Ya never know when you are going to get bugged.

tks for the help. It's a little weird, considering I had the game on my old pc, ran multiple characters until the end, and it never surfaced.

New pc (both hardware and character), first time through- bam!
