hi, i bought Morrowind but the 1 biig problem is that its too damn slow.. do you know how to make it faster??

walking?

It's a pain at start.. then you get boots of blinding speed, and you travel at the light of speed.. or you can enchant stuff to give you + speed.

On a note there, does increasing your athletics make you go faster also, or does it just increase your stamina?

nonono, i mean the game, not the character.

oppss, sorry uss I misunderstood what you were getting at.
I thought you meant speeding up the game quest wise.

Ehm, here it goes: press ESC and you'll see a menu. Then select video from the tabs and there are your options!

The single best way to increase your games performance is to use the no cd crack. if you do some searching you'll find it. It gets rid of the program that constantly searches fpr the CD, consequently eating all kinds of processor cycles.

also try tweaking you ini file a little, like change linear lighting=1 to =0 and quadratic from =0 to =1

gf4 ti4400 and above doesnt hurt either. my freind is playing it with a gf2 and is getting a max a about 40 frames a second(standing still). i got the gf4 and i can get that in movement. i get about 75 to 90 standing still. the game runs smoothly with better graphics card. just so you know my comp is a 1200 duron so you can see its not the greatest of all power gamer machines
