I'm always in a short of money.
What is the best way to earn money without stealing ?
Make potions and sell them ?
In normal life there are to ways to achieve this
Stealing and/or inheritance....
Working does not help.....
No inheritance in Vvardenfell however...

i started by picking every plant and taking every alchemy ingredient i could get my hands on and selling them made quite a bit of money this way. Also knowing who will buy moon sugar and skooma will help a lot. since then i have made most of my money by making and selling potions.

It would help if you told us where in the game you are, what level etc.

If you're really, really, really desperate for money and can't find any way to get more there's a console command that gives you more cash:

Press the button to the left of your "1", below your Esc and above your TAB. That should open the console.

Next, click on your character.

Then type: additem gold_100 [insertnumber]

The number that you type instead of [insertnumber] will be the amount of gold added to your inventory.

I don't recommend cheating, but if you're desperate for gold. It can be done.

Loot everything. There are plenty of things in those houses in Seyda Neen and Balmora. Loot all of them and sell it to the trader. I know it is hard work but making money early in the game is never meant to be easy.

Or use the Mage guild travel thing and travel to Vivec and on the second floor of the main building you find a waponshop that the girl have 8000 bucks sell some weapons to here and rest or wait 24 houers and she have 8000 again hehe! So if you have weapon to around 12000 you get 8000 for it lol!

Raid the caves and tombs around Balmora. Did this the first 10 levels and made 3-12K per cave. Used money to get better equipment and buy better spells so I could go after larger crypts and Daedric defended sites. By level 20, had over 100K and never stole a single thing (except:
- the ring in the barrel when you first start because the game script will not let you open the door to leave until you pick-up the ring.
- the book Chimivirium for Edwina(SP?)
Of course, my character gave them back to the proper owner as soon as possible.
- and that real gem stone that you have to swap with a fake one. Those Mages have a wierd sense of fair play...)

go to dren plantation near vivec, ou can get 20000 gold. ;)

well it never hurts to steal!!!!go to redoran and to its plaza one of the maynors and in a secluded room theres a valt key take and got to the redoran vault and a just open the door close it behind u so the ordinator dont follow u in and theres over 3k in there plus some rubies,diamonds,glass axe,and other things to sell for high prices
