does anyone know where i can get some glass greives(trousers)? i tried the armorer in Ghostgate but he didn't have them.
Thanx Bruce The Aussie |
Other than off someone else's body, Ghostgate is your best bet, I think. Try going back later, as the supply does seem to change (it did on two times I was there).

Resting 24 hours might change inventories. I know it replenishes the amount of gold a merchant has.

If you are up to the challenge and slight confusion, I'm not sure if you can just do this one anytime, but I'll post this anyway, you other more experienced folk might be able to tell if this will mess with the main quest or not. There is a woman I think breton, wearing
********************SPOILER******************** + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + them, and she most conveniently dies for you, with the help of some ordinators dressed in robes, just go to an island north of Ahemmusa Camp, it's an island with a Daedric ruin, you may encounter a scamp, winged twighlight, and at least one Golden Saint, and a Dremora Lord or 2. Anyway, just tell the guys with robes you are there to plunder the ruins, then go ask the "others" about the dance, tthen go in you will encounter 3 nasty types before reaching some ordinators whomping on some witches, one of these witches has a partial set of glass aromor along with nice matching dagger. I hope that you make it out alive, I did this as part of my main quest, i had already found glass greaves (free) in some tomb or another, way early, and I was pretty powerful, so be careful. |
Go to the fighters guild in Ald Ruhn. Somewhere downstairs is a locked chest near a bed containing a complete set of glass armor! Too bad it doesn't have any pauldrons, but you can always liberate those off that she-orc in Suran. The Daedric Ruins near Suran also have a Glass Longswprd, Hallberd and Helmet. Please note that for the glass armor in Ald Ruhn is considered stolen property, so any conversation wioth town gaurds about bounties and its gonna be bye bye glass armor.

thanx all of you.

At low level, you can also find and get a pair of them in the Uriskra (SP?) Burial Chambers. It is a required site for the main quest.
. . . . . . . If you are powerfull enough, go to Maar Gan. Leave town heading east. Cross (levitate) the mountain range and you will slide into a North/South lava trail (foyodra (SP?). Start heading North and look for a Dwemer ruin on your right. Be warned that the person wearing a full suit of glass is the top vampire for a vampire clan. Took me an hour+ of real time, many summons, scrolls, healing potions and beating for my 12th level archer to get it off her. At the time, I was commited to getting it. In retrospect, I should be commited for attempting it with my low level Archer |
There is an even easier way that can be completed at fairly low levels. Join House Hlalauu (spelling?) in Balmora. You will get a quest where if you can complete both things he is requesting before returning you get a glass Curiass, Glass pants, and Glass Helm as a bonus reward. They are worthless to me as I do not wear armor at all but this sounds like the easiest way to acquire glass clothing.
