How much different are the 2 from each other...?
|
Xbox - no level editor. Otherwise, essentially the same (probably easier to patch the PC version, as well).
|
the xbox version is similar to the patched version of pc game. ie. cant drop summoned items, robe of saint roris is cast on use instead of constant, no infinite money from the hlallu murder quest, etc...
xbox version looks great, but the menu is much more cumbersom than the pc version. And the clincher is that you cant install plugins on the xbox. |
Also on the xbox version its kind of like you are wearing horesblinders while the pc version has a broader veiwing range.
|
One advantage the Xbox version does have is that I can lie flat on my back on my couch playing on a 50' HD television with beer on tap next to me :D
I think the PC graphics are better and it's a bit less cumbersome but I'll take the playing comfort for the amount of hours I'm putting into this game! |
I recently had possession of a high res. LCD projector for a month... Morrowind was stunning at 1024x768x32 projected onto a wall (maybe a 6-8 foot image). Add to that the great sound (5.1 - the thunder was so loud it usually startled me)
I wish I had the cash to buy one for home, those things are great. |
Couldn't agree more with you - we consolers used to have a friend who had one of them and of course the associated wickedly expensive sound system. Young gamers dream.
|
You can lay down and play the PC version on the 50 inch TV, if you have the right video card, so, its only a matter what you have, or willing to do, to get it.
