Well, in case you realize your post was useless, you (and only you, the topic starter) can delete it by selecting the edit/delete option which is shown just above your post, and the selecting delete post box above the post editing window.
Deleting the first thread of the post will delete the entire post.
By the way, you can also edit your posts this way, just select edit post instead of delete post [img]smile.gif[/img]
