All,
found this hammer a Dweemer artifact etc.., it's called "Sundar" very darn powerful, and impressive CE stats. However the only negative shows, lower stamina 1. Ok, I can handle that, however, everytime I equip it, it "deals me a mortal wound" and within seconds I'm gone.
I don't read the books, and get most of my Morrowind here, what am I missing here? Why is it killing me instead of just reducing my stamina?

You can only handle Sundar when you're equipped with Wraithguard, which is given to you by Vivec at some point in the game. Are you just wandering around and raid whatever dungeon fancy's you ?

Actually I was doing the Temple quest, all 7 shrines. I stepped into the trade house in Ghostfence, and somebody mentioned the loot to be had, but be careful of corprus. Well, heh! I'm mune to corprus, so I was looking for all the loot!

What about those small red/black statues that I've picked up. Are they usefull for anything? I currently have 4 of them on a dweemer cog in the middle of my table for decoration, acqcentuated with dweemer pitcher, goblets and some limeware bowls mind you.

I just downloaded my very first mod, Giants. I want to install and play it tonight.

those red/black statues, are they named ash statues? if yes then they are worthless.

should you read books, you would find out that Sunder is an ancient Dwemer artifact which was used by the dwemer to collect the ancient powers of the Heart of Lorkhan - which power was too great even for them, since it led to their complete destruction. Only the bracer Wraithguard can help the wielder of Sunder (or Keening for that matter), and the bracer itself is cursed unless you get it from lord Vivec himself or you follow a long and dangerous uncursing process.

Read those books, don't just charge blindly ahead!!!! :D :D

Actually, there's one quest that involves an ash statue, i think it was for house Redoran. But for the rest, they're pretty much useless.

yeah those ash statues should be worth like 1000 septims but they are not, which is really cheap
