okay, now i was looking through my games collection (takes quite a while these days) and i found a game called "the Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard" and i was wondering where it fitted in the series. i've never got it properly running, as i've never really tried. its a virgin interactive and bethesda gamemade in 97. just a query about a mysterios game i don't know how i have.

I don't know the game, but there's a lot of stuff about it here.

while I was installing Bloodmoon they were promoting some ES games. I forgot the name but did anybody played that? it seems like the old dungeon crawl games.

I think it goes Daggerfall, Redguard, Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon, but the last two are just expansions

Arena
Daggerfall
Morrowind (tribunal and bloodmoon)

BattleSpire and Redguard are two games that also take place in the ElderScroll world but they have nothing to do with the series.

Redguard is actually a game the takes place decades, mabey even 100 years before Arean. You come to this island to find your sister and get caught up in a rebellion. Its a fun game, sort of like Tomb Raider but you're a guy, have a sword, ohh and if I remember correctly you have to have DOS to run it, or mabey its windows 98 I don't remember.

ok I had a similar post to this one posted in the BG2 forum becos I didn't know how to start own forum...
I was wondering how many other people here also play DAGGERFALL? Is it possible to get some sort of DOS emulation program so that the game cld b installed + run on WINXP?
or a good site that has a complete walkthru?...saw 1 b4 that I forgot.

THANKS

I loved daggerfall, though it was the crankiest, crashingest game ever made. To me, Morrowind seems like an updated version of Daggerfall: many of the things I liked best about it are present in Morrowind as well.

But I have no idea what it would take to make it run on a new machine, and I'm not sure I want to... I have a feeling those 2d npcs like cardboard cutouts would seem pretty cheesy by today's standards.
