once you are expelled from the ashlanders can you make ammends with them or are you out for life? becuase none of the Ashlanders will talk to me about it.

Oops, that's the last thing you want to happen, you'll need them to finish the mainquest. I think there's some cheat available that allows you to do business with them again though. I was once expelled from the Mages guild for sleeping in someone elses bed, and i was the friggin Arch mage for crying out loud. :D

Someone here mentioned how to fix this, and it worked. So i'm thinking there's some way to do this with the Ashlanders as well.

reload the game before you are expelled.

the fix can be done on guilds but I don't know whether it can be done with ashlander because they are part of main quest. btw, did you get the " doomday message " when you are expelled?

I dunno how this is supposed to work, but while trolling for map info, I came across a walkthrough that claims the game can be won no matter what, SO LONG as the corprus dwemmer is still alive in Tel Fyr.

Its called doing the Backdoor. Go to www.Gamefaqs.com and look in the guides section of the PC Morrowind game. Basically it tells you how to get the 'other' wraithguard so that you can use the uber weapons.

well i beat the game a while ago, its just that i wouldnt mind getting back into the ashlanders.

two ways:
1) the evil way you follow when you kill vivec before finishing. that one will need the dwemer fatman
2) the "I hack'n'slash but I'm smarter than hell" way (AKA "I've finished the game before and I know what to do" way): figure out what you need to do and do it no matter the cost. You must be extremely powerful to do that, due to some unpleasant side effects of some tools you will need to use.
