No, I don't think you can enchant a bow to do extra damage, unfortunately.

The most powerful longbow that I know of otherwise is a daedric bow (like in Maelkashishi).

The Daedric Longbow is the best bow outthere, but Bonebiter is a good alternative.

Have the daedric bow, but IIRC, the damage is the same as for a bound, and the bound adds to your marksman skill.

Bound is also WAY easier to get...

There's no way to add damage to the arrows, but if you download the official archer mod from the bethesda website, there's a whole shop full of weird and wonderful arrows to suit your needs.

Unless this was addressed by a plugin I don't have Bonebiter is actually one of the poorest bows: 1to20, same as other longbows, but does -20 to the enemy's agility.

Steel longbows actually do 1to25...

Daedric and bound both do 2 to 50, and the bound adds 10 to marksman.

Next best I've found is the bow of shadows, dunno where I got it: 4to40, invisibilty for 30, speed +20/30 for 30...

My games must be messed up. I run around with a Bonemold bow firing normal, non-magic arrows, and have less than 20 in Marksman, and I kill all easier enemies (rats, mudcrabs, cliff racers)with one hit. The same enemies takes a few hits to kill using a steel dai-katana, and I still have 100 in Long Blade.

There is 2 very good Bow Artifact in the game. I think i have mention it somewhere in this forum.

anyway, just go get yourself a daedric long bow and enchant constant bound long bow on it.

much simpler, Kakero, to enchant CE bound bow on an amulet or some such: much easier to find, less weight.
