Yeah. You need the chard to open up the mouth of the big head thats blocking the door out of the maze. I think thats all its good for. Try selling to see how much its worth.

Yeah for a little while I thought It was Creshinibon 2 Azred.... but it is only a crystal that powers the door to the Next level of the Maze :( ..... you also need the Hand of the Vampire (Steak him once youve killed him 4 it)
