I take it you have Tribunal installed ? If so, it's only a matter of time until the assassins start attacking you. You don't find th armour, the armour finds you. ;)

One piece of advice, never go to sleep without having a few restore health potions on you.

Well, i don't have tribunal, bit i'd heard of the armour, and noone said i needed a mod for it :(

Well, i'm afraid that without Tribunal, you won't find any Dark Brotherhood outfits. I might be wrong here, but i would be surprised if you did.

in any case, glass armour is better. so youre not missing out on much.

About the Dark Brotherhood...I can't seem to sleep at all...they attack every time I try :( They are easy enough to kill....and I have a nice set of armor for my trouble....butnot being able to sleep sucks.

The attacks will increase at a certain level, but completely stop after a while. Of course you could always put a stop to it yourself by traveling to Mournhold and take out the ringleader.

glass armor is better, but the dark brotherhood armor is cooler looking and it is free assuming your survive the attack.

if i remember right, the first attack comes when you progress from level 2 to 3.
if possible, sleep at an inn and close the door to your room. (or sleep anywhere you can close the door to the room). the assasin will always be outside of your room so that should allow you to prepare.

when i bought the game of the year edition it said in some little handbook that the dark brother hood will attack you anywhere between 1 and 9 times in a row depending on your level. and even if the dark armour loks better (im dont think so myself) its not worht sacrificing good armour just to look nice.

Nope, they appear inside the room as well, it happened to me a few days ago in Shenk's Shovel in Caldera in the upper room.
