So do the barbaric green people make the best armour? I was just wondering if orcish armour is the best type of medium armour you can get as that's what I've got at the moment.
|
Indoril is better.
|
Not only indoril. Orcish armor is a heavy armor of high quality but there is better armor in the game.
|
Orcish is medium armor. Of Medium quality. In the original game only Indoril or artifacts are better.
In the expansions however, there are some additions, like Royal Guard and Ice I believe. |
There's an official plugin that adds an Adamantium armour set as well.
Plain vanilla Morrowind favours heavy armour, with light and medium far behind. The expansion packs does alot to fix this. Nonetheless, most artifact classed armour pieces seems to be of the "Heavy" variety. I hope this is fixed in Oblivion. [ 04-26-2005, 02:01 PM: Message edited by: Stratos ] |
Though Heasvy Armor still is a pain to wear due to heavy weight. A full suit of Daedric with the normal apckage of potions ed will weigh in and about 500. Which is your maximum carrying capacity with unenhanced maxed strength.
I was also under the impression adamantium armor has the same armor value as orcish? |
Adamantium armour rating is higher than orcish.

Even Ebony taxed my speed severely. When wearing heavy armor you really find out the significance of armor on your speed.

Indeed. That's why I prefer medium, light or unarmored combinations with just a few pieces of armour. My current character only have a bonemold left bracer, and up until recently, an Orc cuirass on. I might still go for the cuirass again, though.
