having trouble in the Barrow downs. Dying b4 killing.

some of the monster if immune to physical so attack use magic. also some of the undead ( revenant ) can paralyse your party and they need to be dealt quickly or you can use protection from magic spell. also notice some monster can drain your mana.

if you think they are too tough. go to other places and do some other quest first and level up a bit. come back later when you are strong.

What level are you? Barrow Downs is not a nice place for a low-level party.
If you haven't done so, I suggest beating up the bandits outside Steadwick.

I am lvl8 .. I am in the barrows right now--I have completed about 6 barrows, and am at the one right b4 zarocks tomb or something. Bandits in steadfast huh.. anymore advice ..? ty.

your level is good enough. do you have healing spell? they might come in handy. sparks works wonders in close quarters.

go to erathia, the enemies there is easy. also go to tatalia, make sure you have jump spell, lure the trolls to chase you and jump on top of the roof. keep on attacking them with bows. easy experience.

Ty Kakero.. By the way, there is an altar up on a hill in the SW quadrant of Barrows Down------- will the jump spell get me up there or will I have to hire the Elf peasant and her fly spell..? Oh, and how might I get Expert in sword--Erathia right?--but where exactly..???????????????

jump skill won't bring you all the way on top. you need to keep on hold UP button and keep on pressing right mouse button franticly to climb that hill. or do you have fly spell? it is even better.

expert sword is Ravenhill. I believe his house is near the tavern in erathia.

i have found 2 genie lamps, but hsave not messed with them yet--tyin to lvl up more and do quests 1st.------but I was wondering what the effects would be granted I used them?

Oh, how come my cavalier(Knight) can repair plate and leather armor w/ Expert repair--but can't repair Chain mail-whats up with that?

genie lamps increase your stats, which stat they increase depends on which months it is. how much stat it increase depends on which week you use it.
