At first I thought they had simply put FF 1 and 2 on a cd-rom and sold them as is, but I was wrong.
Both games have been upgraded. The graphics look a lot better, the menuwas redone, you can now run in town and dungeons, there are demos, new musics, and some hidden features. The graphics are the equivalent of Final Fantasy 6 (3US). The fights look a LOT betters, and you can't attack dead monsters anymore. You can also enter names longer than 4 letters now. Oh! they even added real dialogues! They also added an easy mode. First, I started a normal game, then as I played, I remembered the complete days I spent hunting around crescent lake to be able to afford all the necessary items and spells, so I started an easy game instead and the items in the first town were only in the 4-8 gp range. If you just want to replay FF1 for nostalgia, and don't feel like losing a month of your life, then the easy mode is the way to go. |
What console is it on?
Does it cost the same as a (PS2?) game? |
it's on PSX. cheaper than a PS2 game.

I remember buying FFVI not too long ago (mainly for the FFX demo ) for £12.99

Here are some screenshots of the game.
Yes, they are really screenshots of FF1 and 2. |
