I've been playing this for awhile on my PC, and does anyone else here have preformance issues? I'm running this on the lowest resolution, and the thing still goes into permanent bullettime the second more then two enemy's march into my screen. I'm playing it on a P4 2.4, GF FX 5200 and 512MB RAM. Now, I know this isn't the best of the best, but shouldn't I at least be able to run the game with all the settings tuned down? :(

Kinda sluggish here as well. Pentium 4 2k, GeForce 2, and 256 RAM (DDR). It runs, but when things get hectic, the game slows down. Not for long though, soon i'll add another 512 MB, and i'll get the GeForce 5 somewhere in February, as a birthdaypresent to myself. :D

You know what I say? Abandon all attempts with Halo PC, get yourself an Xbox, wait a few months, then submit yourself to the grandeur of Halo 2.

I have a p3 1.7 ghz and I have only had once slowdown, when about 20 enemies and 10 friendly marines were in a fight, it got pretty slow for a while.
But I just started playing this game this weekend and WOW, I tried the demo and thought it sucked, didn't know what the hell the fuzz was about this game... but when you have the actual story and don't get stuck (like in the demo) it's great... except for those squeeky aliens, whats that about! I agree with Nano. Even some reviewers I read loved the game yet also mentioned there are lag issues with Halo PC. I think the game developers did a rushed job. Anyway, IMO the game plays better and better suited for the Xbox.
