Just started playing yesterday,what a great game if you can get past the awkward interface.Walking through the forest is really scary! And at the beginning it's easy to get killed but so far a great game can't wait to get a little exp.Anyone here have any tips ? Thanks

And another one, lure monsters away and attack one by one. When you are at low levels, a pack of wolves could easily kill you.

Well he pissed me off too much hes dead now!A pack of wolves! I can't get 1 lizard!I just made level 3 and can't get near the mine yet! too tough for my level to get through the woods!

Heh... I know many people would have killed Mud. I didn't, but he fell to his death trying to follow me arround. :D [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

Level 3 is pretty weak to go around hunting animals. Better wait until you have joined any of the camp.

One of the tasks to get accepted is to go to the mine and get a letter.But getting there seems pretty tough for a level 3 player? Am I going about this wrong?I'm trying to get into the old camp.Any tipsPaladin?Thanks for the post.

No you did right. Unfortunately the way to the mine is extremely hazardous to low level character. You would have to lure some of the beasts to the two hunters nearby and avoid the rest by running.

It takes a little bit of luck because some of those pesky wolves can outrun you.

Or you could go to the swamp camp to do some quests first to gain extra XPs.

Level 10 and kicken ass!!What an under rated game! I will definitly get Gothic 2 this game is great after you get past the interface..

Gothic 2 is great also.

I like the overall story of gothic more its more orignal.

But gothic 2 is several times larger.
