im in the underdark (i think thats what they call it) but i want to get back to the docks just for awhile is their any way of getting there???

Nope, unless you want to cheat. But you can get back to the Docks District later on, so I'd suggest to just play through the Underdark and you'll be able to get there later on in the game again.

Just play trough the underdark, nothing evil wil happen in your absence.
