Decide! I nominate either Brood war or Dawn of War, both are cool in a "kick in the nuts" kind of way, with lots of stuff going boom!

Edit, was being a retard. Dawn of War gets my vote...

i can't remember brood war enough and haven't played insurrection. but dawn of war on the other hand - that intro is bloody awesome. i can't get enough of it. my favourite bit is still when the dreadnaut first appears

i like the diablo 2 intros as well (oc and lod). blizzard know how to make nice looking rendered cutscenes

Red Alert 2, Tiberian Sun & Firestorm , Might and Magic 6 , 7 , 8 . Got some cool ones.

Oh, Final Fantasy 8 opening scene is really cool. Plus the music is great as well.

FF8 or MGS2.

Dawn of war Definetly...
Punisher being close second (has more to do with my geekiness than it being good I guess... )

Also Icewind Dale 2 is kind of cool

Fallout 2 for sure.

is probably the only intro I have pretty much NEVER skipped... in all my thousands of times watching it.

Most games just have the advert as the beginning cinematic -- even so, some are nice -- like Episode III, Jade Empire and the KOTOR games.

I always liked BG2, even though it's drawings more than cinema.

Medal of Honor Frontline had a great beginning scene storming the beach at normandy.

Yes, Dawn of War rocks.

I also like weird ones, like the old Axis & Allies game that included lots of WWII footage.

Dawn of war, no doubt about it ;)
