I recently bought black and white, but i am having trouble getting past the first level.
SPOILERS
when my village gets destroyed, what do I do to get onto island two?

Move as many hings as you can into the warp hole as in:
Grain, wood, people, and so on, your creature will go automatically and you need to click on the scroll above it to use it ;)

Trees! Many many many trees! I cannot stress how important trees are in the game [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Do I just let teh village and all the people get destroyed then?

Put all the disciples in, put EVERYTHING IN THE PORTAL. EVERYTHING.

And also some toys, wich are hard to find.
And possible some cows.

Toys have very easy to become artifacts.
And also, pick up the dices and teddy-bear wich are hidden in the house with lot-o-children. (You need to destroy it if it isn´t already)
