Anyone heard of this ? Or played it perhaps ? I'm downloading it as we speak, and it looks pretty good if i may say so.

Those are just a few of the screens i saw, i think this is going to be a lot of fun. I'll need a fresh install of RTW to be able to play this mod, but that's okay, because i just found out how to have several installs of RTW on your harddrive, which will allow me to test all available mods without having to uninstall and reinstall all the time.

So go get it dude, it's freeware. All you need to do is register at the site you can download it from, which isn't that bad to begin with, because there's lots more projects in the making worth to keep an eye on.

I got a good week-long taste of RTR over the holiday though, and I must own it. All along I was saying how great a fantasy mod would be. You don't have to have the barbarian invasions expansion, do you?

And what exactly are you supposed to do to that elephant thing? It seems like it's not going to get spooked by fire :D

The Barbarian invasion addon is not required to play this, all you need is a clean RTW install, and the version 1.2 patch.

To take out the elephaunts, i guess you require lots of archers with fire arrows, dunno though, i haven't gotten to installing the mod yet. But in Battle for Middle Earth, i made short work of those beasts with Rangers with flaming arrows, so i hope they didn't forget to add Rangers in this particular game as well. If you have to fight them with only infantry, or even cavalry, i DO know that you have your work cut out for yourself, these creatures ravage entire batallions in only a few seconds.

Could you please add in a link to the site? There's so many mods out there, and I'm not sure which ones are finished and which ones aren't.
