I was just wondering why Bioware wants BG2 saved games.

I can't get to the Bioware website from work (the filter they have set up blocks certain websites).

I suppose I could look it up at home, but I'm not known for being a patient person. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif

Not so much different versions, but they want to make sure that all saved games will import. As there are many paths to completing BG2, e.g. party combos, items, quests done, what order they were done in etc. Bioware have to be sure that variations here won't prevent saved games being imported. If they were to test all this themsleves it would take about tens years!!!

So is someone going to nudge Ziroc to update the Ironworks Main Page?

I can't get to that site either. It's blocked. Guess the filter at work is pretty good. Damn!

Apparently they were inundated with save games and had to close the gates early - their servers were getting bogged down with the huge number of e-mails they received.
