There's a thread going on somewhere about custom titles, but I'm not sure what all the present ones are (like 'The Magister'), and I think a few people are the same. Hopefully we can clear this up by posting what we know about the various different people/races etc... so we can all know the significance of our own titles. So here goes...

Ok, so my D&D knowledge isn't very good, but I had to start somewhere.

You mean to say that I (completely hypothetically), may have the same ammount of posts as you, and have a different title, depending upon a race, which I set...
So I could always be a thief... I could see that working out alright, but it would be heaps of work. Could be a bit of fun.
The idea of assigning names to people who have been around for a "while" is not really that great, because it is bound to stir up arguments, and if not, at least a little hard feelings.
Maybe your suggestion could solve this...

Sylent,
What he means is that those who know something about Drizzt, Elminster, the Magister etc. should post some background info about them so that those who don't really play D&D can know something about what their title means?
We can't pick a class or anything, the only determining factor on what title we have is number of posts, but I think it was Sazerac who said in another thread that he doesn't know what all the titles mean.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. I suggested that a page or thread was started so people would be able to find out. So here it is. Unfortunately, not knowing a huge amount myself I couldn't post anymore information. So it's up to all you people out there who know D&D a bit better.

oh, ok... slight misunderstanding, but no worries.

I don't know what a zentarum gaurd is, or a magister...
And I don't know much about anything else (in terms of titles), anyone else?
