I am going to have my last bg2 game. Now I have three ideas on char:
1.kensai->thief-- for use any item
2.kensai->mage-- for spell casting, or
3.multi cleric/ranger-- all cleric+druid spell
Which one is better for my final run? Any ideas?

It depends entirely on who you're going to have as the rest of your party

But why is it going to be your last game? My advice would be to play with one of them - then give the game a rest for a time. I think you will want to come back a try the other two later.

I am going to pick Aerie if go the kensai-thief way, Anomen for the kensai-mage and Imoen for cleric-ranger.
For the reason why this will be the last: because too many good games are coming and even more games to replay......eg:NWN, IWD2, Warcraft3, Dungeon Siege....and Diablo2, IWD......

Why don't you create a kensai/mage, and do it solo? Dual from kensai at level 12...

The early stages are quite challenging, especially when you have mage-only skills, but once you get to about 12/15, you really kick-ass!!

I've played through about 6 or 7 times already, and this is the final challenge...
