Hey, I'm new to this forum. But that wasn't the point of this post. I just got a disturbing email from one of my friends. It discusses a new... "trend" from Japan that is starting to gain popularity in New York. It's called Bonsai Kittens! In otherwords, u put a cat in a bottle, and there is your bonsai kitten. ;-( If you wanna see what I'm talking about, check out http://www.bonsaikitten.com and see for yourself. I'm trying to recruit people to sign the email I got, that's against this. (where's the humanity?!) If you are interested in "signing" the email, email me at yelza27@aol.com (of course, i could also be a sap, who's falling for a fake chainmail letter... but considering what it is about, i don't really care, ne? ). ^_^* Thanx for at least checkin it out... and what's your opinion on stuff like this?

Well, the good news is... it's a parody. If you like that sort of dark humor, it's pretty funny. If, on the other hand, you have a sensitive spot about animals, it's not quite as funny.
Myself, I have no tolerance for cruelty to defenseless beings, i.e. animals and children, the mentally or physically handicapped, etc. But I do appreciate the send-up of a rather odd hobby. I just hope that there isn't some ignorant jackass who thinks it's worth trying...

Well it is hard for me to tell if this site is real or as Absynthe says, a parody. I personally love all animals, and am against any form of abuse.
