Upper right hand of the post is a quote icon, click it and your reply space will have the quote in it like this one.

Took me a little while too. Whenever I wanted to quote someone I just made out the quote myself, including the "Originally posted by ___:". Hard and taxing labor - glad there's a little button for us all to push.
