Not that I expect anyone here will have the answer!!
I was out drinking yesterday afternoon - someone left our office for greener pastures, and our boss gave us the afternoon off on the condition that we let her buy us all drinks in the boozer all afternoon - well, she's my boss, right? I couldn't disobey a direct order, after all!

So this morning I am a tiny bit hungover, but I was really quite good yesterday - didn't overdo it too much - or so I thought.

But I have just noticed a HUGE BRUISE! on my arm. Where in the nine hells did it come from? It's purple and red and is shaped like a map of china, and my arm hurts when I move it, so I must have bruised the muscle badly.
How in the heck did I do that without noticing?

This should serve as a warning to all those who are considering taking up drinking as a hobby.

It's like I never learn. There should be a lesson here somewhere! I don't drink often, but when I do....

Hey make up a heroic story in which you pushed twenty children out of the way of a runaway bus, jumping out of the way at the last second and being clipped by the mirror. Maybe someone will believe it http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Yes, alchohol does that to you. I once slipped in a water fight onto concrete, landed on my elbow, got up laughing, thinking nothing of it, then found out the next day that I had fractured it when it was too late to do anything about it. (this is why I go easy on the whiskey now). Had a great time though! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

It's not a good night unless you wake up with an unidentified injury. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif I remember (pieces of) one particularly memorable (or not) evening, where I woke up with exactly the same problem, except the bruise was on my backside! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/FRblush.gif I have no idea how it got there, though my colleagues came up with various interesting tales.

Worry ye not Epona, I'm sure it'll heal up just fine, and while it does you can take comfort in the fact that you're not alone. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

I'd rather be bruised then wake up next to somebody whose name you don't remember in a place you don't know how you got to. That really sucks.

I have some good news for you Epona. No matter how badly you behaved, no matter who you insulted or how you disgraced yourself - even though you can't remember some bastard will remind you about it, again and again and again. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
