Im interested if any of you are gonna buy Nintendo Gamecube, X-box or just get both. Tell me your opinion

Hi...not sure if i welcomed you to the board earlier or not so hi!

And i cant afford to buy either one probably...but i would love to have both. Apparently the Nintendo gamecube is gonna be the bomb! And as for the x-box...microsoft definetly has the market power to make the thing a winner.

But as always imho...its not the system...its the games. whichever system has the better games will be the one that is successful.

I've already got a PS2, and plan on getting a GameCube. If I want to play Microsoft games I've got a PC! I can't see how anything on the XBox will be different enough to make me want to get it...and Nintendo always has at least a few really excellent games for each console...although I was disappointed with the N64, but I still got it anyway.

Well, I have always been a follower of Nintendo, but after the rather lame N64 I am not so sure what to chose anymore. The new Zelda looks even worse than the N64-versions, no Mario-game at the release and still no real RPGs announced to it.

The PS2 looks... well... FFX, thats all I say. Otherwise, I haven't heard of any titles that would make me run 15 km to the store to buy. Sure, re-release of FFVII-IX, but those game I have on the PSX.
The PS2 has got a DVD-player, of course, but I have heard it is quite mediocre.

I don't know what to buy.
