I was walking through the asylum today, and I noticed a small box that was searchable. Nothing new there, except that the box was in an inaccessible area. There seemed to be traversable ground around it, but no way to get to it. Anyone else seen it? Anyone who wants to see it, x= 1099, y= 1653, area= ar1500

Is this remnant of a cut out area, or are you supposed to be able to get to it some other way?

As far as i can recall when i was in the asylum, there was nothing odd. There are multiple secret doorways though so just be sure to check trhrough it. Other wise use a cheat by changing baldur.ini in ur game folder. open it with notepad, add the line debug mode=1 under prgram option, play the game, get to the place where you saw the chest, press, maybe ctrl L to where the chest is and WOOF! You are there. Just work your way back that way. Tell me about it then, if it was a secret door or if it was a glitch or something else.

If you mean the chest in the outside starting area of Spellhold it´s just that - an unaccessible chest. I found no way to it too and *teleported* over as described above. At least for me all that I found was an unaccessible, empty chest.

Yup, that's the one I saw banzai just seemed odd that they'ed leave it usable though unaccessable.

Or without cheating you can make sure you have party members surrounding you, and you stand on the very edge nearest the ledge with the chest on and then cast siriculum(spelling sorry or project image. Your image actually gets put near the chest because its the nearest place for it to go.

One SLIGHT problem is you then cant get back, actually thinking about it u could summon a load of creatures and use the same tactic.

Its really not worth the effort though, theres nothing of interest in the box

Is there "nothing of interest", or "nothing at all" in the chest?

IEEP says that box gets "TREAS01", which boils down to a few gp or maybe a necklace. Whoop dee doo.
