Some of you know I do (for free) writing, reporting and editing for a local newsletter - well, I quit a few weeks ago due to the unjust way the key man of the paid members of staff was treated. I sent in the last of my editing and told 'em I wasn't doing any more. Fine. I was a bit miffed that they didn't even acknowledge getting the stuff, but hey....
Anyway - today I had a phone call. The blighters are grovelling in the dust to get me back! Hahahahahaaaaa! The guy who phoned is going to ask the manager to phone since I didn't respond with an immediate 'hey, yeah, fine', and has agreed to set up a meeting to to aprise me and others affected of what they call the 'facts'. Boy, are they desperate - the Resource Room has closed down! They got shot of the key man and now they have no-one - everyone walked!
