The topic speaks truth: there will be no more updates after this unless i gain the knowledge to contact the spirit plane somehow. thats right, he's dead... time of death: approximately 19:00. i know of no words, no poems, no lyrics, nothing to say how i felt about him or how i feel about this. he was a great man, he was always there for me when i needed him and was always there for his family. he's taught me just about every virtue i know of, instilled loyalty in me, and with that legacy he's gone. all i can think of saying is that i loved him very much, and i'll miss him now. thank you for your time and sympathy.

I offer you every sympathy, and as I chat to you real time now, I promise you I will always be here for you as one of your bestest friends, as I have tried to be so far.

Do not look for poems, or words, as none can express the feeling in your heart at the moment, and I have experianced death close in my family, although admittedly none of my parents.

There is nothing anyone can say on here to make you feel any better, and I think it would be pointless trying. All i can say is, I hope you know that everyone here on IW, and especially your close friends are here for you.

I only ever pray to god on rare occasions, but tonight Cody I will pray for your dad, and your family. May he rest in peace in heaven, place of the angels.

I am truly sorry about your loss, Cody. Nothing I or anyone else can say will make things any better, just make sure you remember all the good times you had with him, so that when you think of him, it is fondly, and not with pain in your heart. You and your family have my deepest sympathy, and I wish you all the best in dealing with this catastrophe.

I'm so sorry to hear this news Sephiroth, I didn't even know your dad was sick. This must be a very hard time for you. I've been where you are right now, know that, and I know how you feel, so many emotions going on inside your head, grief, sadness, remembrance, laughter, love, emptiness, respect, loyalty, I could go on and on. I feel for you Seph, and please know that all of us are here for you whenever you need us. I think you know this already, otherwise you wouldn't have posted this news to us. Try to keep yourself together friend, I know it is hard, but you must not totally lose yourself in grief, you must carry on, I'm sure your father would want it that way. Again, my sincere condolences, we are all with you and grieving with you on this so very sad day :(
