Interplay has announced that they have decided to bring their incredible Baldurs Gate series to the game boy advance, does anyone else apart from me think this is crazy? How can you expect a Baldurs gate game to work on a 32bit console? Maybe they plan to change it into another type of game (like they did with Dark alliance) but if they actually try and make a copy of the PC version how good will it be? Rubbish in my opinion. On another note fans of the hit Shining series(shining force, shining in the darkness, shining in the holy ark) will be pleased to hear that Sega is releasing a new game called "Shining Soul" on the gameboy advance. One game to look foward to in my opinion (I've seen a couple of pictures).

Definitely a different interface. You cant drag items, spells and stuff, its going to be very 'simple'.

And truly, I think its not even possible, it will be a totally different game. I mean Game Boy advance its just too primitive to hold BG with all its options and menus. So the game will be crap heh.

Good point but still, with only 4 buttons and a d-pad the game will be tricky to control.

Remember, the brains behind Interplay are no longer there. The company has been sold to a bunch of folks who think they can simply take whatever assets Interplay had and push 'em to a larger potential audience--the idea being that old Interplay was too stupid to realize the money they could make back-when.

So they'll spend a fortune revamping BG for the GameBoy. And it won't work well, and it won't sell well.

And after they get through pulling Interplay's brand name through the mud, they'll sell the assets again.

As in Microprose. As in Dynamix. As in Origin Systems. As in...

All PC's except for Intel's "Itanic" Itanium series and AMD's soon to be revealed Hammer processor are 32 bit. Right now, the Macs running their Motorolla chips are true 64 bit processors, and are the only mainstream 64 bit solution for us consumers.
